Lighted Boat Parade
Each year the Wine and Walleye Festival takes to the water for their annual lighted boat parade. The parade takes place on the waterway between the Ashtabula Yacht Club and the Ashtabula Coast Guard station as the highly festive boats make their way under the Bascule Bridge with fun music and entertainment aboard.
Join other families as we judge the Wine & Walleye Festival’s best decorated and festive boat! Lots of time and effort is taken by the boat owners for decorating their vessels, so help us cheer them on as they display their work! At stake is our Wine & Walleye traveling trophy!
Admission is free and most seating is available above the transient dock (West side of the river) throughout the grass. Blankets or small folding chairs are welcome for seating. The parade should begin just after dusk on Saturday, July 29th.
The 2017 theme is “Under the Sea”. Join us!
